- Construction of the parks maintenance facility began in May.
- Construction of the stormwater pond began in June.
- Construction of The Ridge will begin after after Lions Daze in July 2025.
See a description of each project below. We will post regular updates on construction progress in the Updates section.
Things to Keep in Mind During Construction
-
Safety: Village Park will be undergoing four simultaneous construction projects. All contractors have been informed that the park will remain open to residents; however, we kindly ask for your cooperation in prioritizing safety. Please maintain a safe distance from contractors and their equipment and avoid active construction zones. While building construction sites will be fenced off, it is crucial to steer clear of these areas and utilize the unaffected portions of the park for recreation. Your awareness and caution are greatly appreciated..

Podolske Playground was removed in June out of concern for user safety with multiple construction projects surrounding the area. The replacement playground will be installed in Spring 2026.
-
Disc Golf: Holes 16, 17 and 18 will be removed on April 15 as they are in the construction area. Hole 11's basket has been adjusted due to park construction. Please be aware of pedestrians, especially at hole 11.
-
Tennis Courts: Tennis Courts are permanently closed. Tennis can be played at Melinda Weaver Park.
