Classic Car Cruise Night | June 18th, 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. - Wave your flag as an incredible parade of classic cars rolls by! The first 50 cars in the lineup will each receive a flag to clip onto their vehicle during the event. Afterward, join us at the Civic Center Front Plaza to kick off the festivities with a few patriotic favorites!
Pauline Haass Public Library Presents: America 250 Wisconsin Ties to the American Revolution | June 29th, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. - The years 2025 to 2033 mark the 250th anniversary of the War of Independence. Victory over Britain made the territory of Wisconsin part of the United States. Although Wisconsin was not a state at the time, and would not be until 1848, there came many descendants of the Revolutionary generation that later built the State of Wisconsin. This talk will explore ties between Wisconsin and the revolutionary generation, including the 40-plus veterans of that conflict buried in the state.
4th of July Community Parade - This year, we're going bigger! In honor of our nation's 250th birthday, we're transforming our beloved Kiddie Parade into a full Community Parade — open to all ages. Dress in your most patriotic gear and march with us down Main Street to The Grove at Village Park, where free ice cream, playground fun, and the splashpad await!
Fireworks Show - NEW this year, our fireworks display will be set to music, making this Independence Day spectacular even more unforgettable!
Pauline Haass Public Library Presents: America 250 Lineage Societies to Celebrate Patriotism | July 16th, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. - In the 1890s it became a trend to claim a Revolutionary War Patriot and join a society that represented your Americanism, such as the Daughters of the American Revolution. Find out about the history of these organizations and what they meant then and now.
