Special Curbside Leaf Collection: Starts Monday, March 9

The Village of Sussex will kick off a special curbside collection for leaves that fell late or were buried under snow this past fall. Make sure your leaves are piled up at the curb by March 9 for pickup. Public Works will make ONE pass through the Village. Here are a few important tips:

  • Please don’t place piles too far into the street, as this can block two-way traffic.
  • Spread out your piles along the length of your property instead of making one massive pile.
  • Remember to keep storm drains clear to help prevent street flooding.
  • This collection is ONLY for leaves—please do NOT mix in any brush or other trash.
